Founded in 1969, the Friends of the Public Library is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization that supports the Public Library Albuquerque and Bernalillo County.
Through the sale of donated books, DVDs and CDs, some 55 volunteers and one part-time coordinator raise over $200,000 annually to support:
In addition to the satisfaction of supporting the library and promoting literacy, members receive a 10% discount at the Friends Bookshop in the Main Library.
